Los Angeles Kings Chicago reviews
Frozen Fury XV
Great time with not one but two games this year!
Arena is intimate and hints at minor league hockey since it's not usually set up for ice. Sight-lines are good almost everywhere. This is a bit of an event, not just a game with the King's fan meetups the night before. Then in the mad crush to get in the gate, fans walk the famed "gauntlet". Great way to boost King's fan's energy (if for some reason you weren't already pumped for the most fun game of the year) but for the opposing team's fans to walk through the hundreds of loyal Kings fans yelling at them: Ranges fans: YOU SUCK! or Avalanche fans: YOU SUCK! Then the best event- the game itself. It's preseason hockey so there's a lot of rust, new faces and probably some minor league faces too. It's all good because it's the start of the NHL season!
Added bonus in wearing your jersey or King's shirt around the strip, you meet other fans some decked out in their jersey's and many incognito, but amazing how many hockey fans you meet! I met fans from many other cities and it was all great as it was hockey that was important this weekend!
If you need a getaway at the end of September and Vegas may be your destination of choice, I'd recommend this great event anytime!
